My theory is that Xaos or (more likely) Kohain (think that’s his name) is warping her magic right now, with the endgame of convincing her that Anne is doing it. That way Xaos has another minion to use against her when the time comes. And since Cassie and Anne both seem to be crushing hard for Robin, it won’t take much to give Cassie a serious hate-on for Anne.
