Mind you, he’s still like 10(?) years old (so his crush manifests a bit more like hero worship), with an overactive imagination and I’m pretty sure ADHD… but the crush is still in that jumbled mess somewhere.
What’s the most awesome thing to summon Kirkashi can imagine? Cassie, naturally! She is the badass of badasses! (At least in the Kirk-universe).
Now… this world he tumbled into through the wardrobe is clearly fabricated from his imagination, but one question remains: is it a “real”, magically generated dimension… or is Kirk actually lying curled up inside the wardrobe, drooling on the wood, and having the BEST DREAM EVER!!!
