Here’s hoping at some point, the plant gets its own adventure. There simply wasn’t enough plant in later stories.

I would have suggested having the plant lean into Cassie. Not blatantly, just subtlely enough it could be missed if one wasn’t paying attention.
As is, our unfortunately immobile plant actually inclines slightly away from her in every panel.
