I didn't want to do a filler about the Nintendo Wii or the new Zelda, "Twilight Princess." Don't get me wrong. I'm very excited about both, but I had more of a desire to do an in-story one-shot. So when Robin helped me decide to focus on Milo and E, it became a matter of picking something for them to be doing.
Why not show them playing Wii? I, myself, will not be getting a Wii or Zelda on launch. It's a matter of my budget just not covering expenditures like that at this time, even with the very affordable price tag. Still, I didn't want to deprive my comic-counterpart. Milo's comment in the first panel is a tribute to the fan comic, "The Adventures of Milo" by CrazyCow. Not saying it's "canon," but why get hung up over a silly thing like that? It was fun and I enjoy seeing others inspired by characters I helped create. |

Anne got this to me while I was at work yesterday so I couldn't work on it until I got home. But I got it done in time for posting! I really liked how this one came out in the end, especially the panel with Anne in the game.
Unlike Anne, I will be waiting in line outside of my local Best Buy on Sunday morning to pick up my Wii the moment it comes out. It's a good thing I've already finished Monday's comic, otherwise there's a chance it could be late. [less] |
