This one went through about 5 rewrites, and even then, I wasn't really happy with it until Robin colored and fit the text on. I'm cool with it now, though.
The guy in 4-1 is Jack from the cool comic, Zebra Girl by Joe England. Joe was actually the first fellow comic artist to give Anne a cameo, and I've never forgotten that. A couple of his other characters have appeared in the Wotch, but this would be a first from Jack, even though he's the only one who's actually met Anne! The last two panels were included at fan request. People really wanted to see a glimpse of that "big magic fight. It ended up making a good breaking point anyway, so I was happy to do it.
