11/29/2011 Hey, everyone! Sorry, my bad, I should have posted this on Sunday. The comic is either going to be late or postponed till next week, depending. The holiday weekend threw things off for various reasons.

Some of you are probably thinking, "This is how it started last time!!" but I assure you that things are still going well. Just keep in mind that Ian has his own awesome comic that he's doing at City of Reality. If you haven't checked it out, I STRONGLY recommend that you go do so! In addition to this, Robin (who has switched jobs recently) was working at his previous, retail job over the busiest shopping weekend of the year, and on top of THAT, I was a bit late in getting the script for this week to Ian in ample time anyway because of last week's business.

All this adds up to a late Wotch comic, but don't fret; we're all working together and even with little unavoidable hiccups, the updates will keep coming. In fact, I can assure you that what's coming up will blow your socks off. Have a good day, everyone! [less]

11/14/2011 The update is going to be late this week, sorry. I was unable to get things written in time for Ian to draw and Robin to color for the timed update.

8/8/2011 Update: There will be an update every day this week. The new schedule will start on 8/15.

Well, it's been a long, unplanned hiatus, but thank you for the many words of encouragement and the support during this time. Suffice to say, in order to move forward, we are going to be making some changes.

First of all, we're welcoming aboard long time Wotch supporter and friend, the incredibly talented Ian Samson of City of Reality! Ian will be taking over the art duties for The Wotch, and I couldn't be happier. I have loved drawing The Wotch--and will still occasionally be back from time to time!--but I have (obviously) been unable to keep up with it all as of late. Ian has graciously agreed to pick up the torch. Ian has done fan art and even guest arcs in the past. If you want to see more from Ian, please check out his own comic. It's awesome, you won't regret it.

Secondly, thank you to Thom Revor for being the webmaster and helping with the new look for new comics. Thom's been (mostly) patiently waiting to reveal this for a while. It's all beyond me, so I am glad to have individuals like him here to handle it all! Thanks, Thom!

Thirdly, Robin will be continuing as colorist for the actual story comics (which resume next week. More on that in a moment). Robin's work continues to improve, and you'll find that even after the lengthy break, he has not lost his flare for the art!

The new schedule will be once-a-week on Mondays, with the hope to bump it up to twice-a-week after a while. This may seem slow (man, we used to do this comic five-times-a-week. How the heck did we do that?), but it is the best schedule for all involved, and will allow for consistent updates.

Lastly, thank you to the many, many of you who have waiting patiently for us to resume. I know I went into e-mail-hiding (sorry, bad habit of mine), but your support is much appreciated. You all make this possible. I originally started this comic with Robin just for kicks. I thought maybe a handful of friends would be reading it. I never thought it would transform into this. 5/18/2011 Alright! Well it's been a while... some would say too long, and I'll just have to say they're right. You may have noticed some comics disappearing, but it's not like we're actually deleting them, they're just moving to a new home! The Fillers will no longer be in the comic archive, people were complaining about this so they will have their own section at Extras.TheWotch.com. The Sunday Specials will have their own section soon enough, but that's still being worked on! Thanks to Thom and Phantom Inker for their work on this little migration. [less]
